Line-wire count
The number of horizontal wires, including the top and bottom wires. A layout with 13 line wires has 12 vertical openings.
FIXED KNOT · METRIC SPECIFICATIONS
Compare 46 fixed knot opening layouts from 650 to 2400 mm. Choose the height and line-wire pattern first, then specify stay spacing, wire grade, coating and roll length for your order.
1700 mm, 2100 mm and other design heights are included in the full table below.
Each row specifies a height and the number of horizontal line wires. Select a height to open its product details. Opening schedules read from bottom to top; for example, 75 × 6 means six vertical openings of 75 mm.

The table scrolls horizontally on small screens. Stay spacing is specified separately. Diagrams show opening geometry; they are not product photographs.
The number of horizontal wires, including the top and bottom wires. A layout with 13 line wires has 12 vertical openings.
The distance between adjacent horizontal wires. Add all openings to obtain the design height shown in the table.
The horizontal distance between upright stay wires. Include this as a separate requirement when requesting a quote.
Specify line, edge, stay and knot wire diameters separately, together with the material, tensile requirement and coating. Request your preferred roll length, quantity, label and packing method so that quotations use the same basis.
MOQ is one 20ft container (1 × 20GP). Roll weight, packed dimensions, lead time and container loading are confirmed for the selected configuration. Include your destination port and any sample or inspection requirements.

The 13-line, 1200 mm layout uses 6 × 75 + 2 × 100 + 2 × 125 + 2 × 150 mm openings, listed from bottom to top. The 12 openings total 1200 mm. A selected 150 mm stay spacing describes the width between upright wires; it is separate from the opening-height schedule.
Specify the edge, line, stay and knot wires individually. The layout identifies mesh geometry and does not assign wire diameter, tensile strength, zinc mass, roll weight or a certified coating class.
| Order item | What the buyer and supplier agree |
|---|---|
| Layout | Layout reference, exact height, horizontal wire count and opening direction |
| Stay spacing | 75, 100, 150 or 300 mm published choices; confirm the selected dimension |
| Wire and coating | Edge, line, stay and knot wire diameters; tensile requirements; coating type and test basis |
| Roll and packing | Exact roll length, measured net/gross weight, packed dimensions, rolls per pallet and label details |
| Commercial terms | Quantity, allocation within a minimum 1 × 20GP order, delivery schedule, destination and inspection documents |
For example, a 100 m roll is 0.584 m shorter than a 330 ft roll. Specify the exact ordered length when comparing cost per metre and container quantities.
A 1200 mm layout is different from 48 in (1219.2 mm). A 2400 mm layout is different from 96 in (2438.4 mm). Specify the required design dimension and agreed tolerance rather than substituting one unit label for another.
1348-6-330: 13 wires / 48 in · 949-6-330: 9 wires / 49 in · 2096-6-330: 20 wires / 96 in
Keep the same layout reference, design height, opening schedule and control units in both offers. Specify horizontal stay spacing, each wire diameter, coating, roll length and packing separately. Use the fixed knot bulk quotation guide and its blank worksheet; a metric layout is not an automatic substitute for an imperial model.
