Woven wire fence for goats and sheep
Compare two S-knot models for small-stock paddocks and farm boundaries. Both use 4 in stay spacing and 4 in vertical openings. This is different from the 2 × 4 in horse range. Choose the height and wire grade for your animals and site.
Choose openings for animal size and horns
Check horn status, head size and the smallest animals before choosing openings. A goat that puts its head through the mesh may become trapped. Choose a layout for the whole group, including young and horned animals; height and knot type alone do not establish suitability.
For goat pens, review gates, corners, animal pressure and ground gaps. Inspect joins during use. If 4 × 4 in mesh does not suit the animals, request another layout for review.
